"Brian Mazzaferri's "All Roads Lead To Roads" will send your mind into a state of bliss"
-IndieMusicStop.com
In late 2007, Brian Mazzaferri released his debut album, "All Roads Lead To Roads," on Sophic Records. The reviews were unanimously positive, and Brian soon embarked on a midwest tour to support the album, as hundreds of copies flew off the proverbial shelves. Now, as momentum builds, spreading out from Chicago across the midwest, Brian's songs about the eternal WHY are striking chords with an ever-broadening fanbase of thinkers, who aren't afraid to voice their strong opinions on his music (just look at his iTunes listener reviews and you'll see what I mean).
Brian's sound has been called a cross between Rufus Wainwright and Joni Mitchell, with a dash of Chris Thile thrown in for good measure, and he wears his influences proudly, everyone from Billy Joel to Moxy Fruvous to Larry Hart.
But the heart of what Brian does is in the lyrics he writes. Always seeking to get at the heart of the subject matter he's writing and then dig one layer deeper, this Singer/Songwriter/Philosopher is relentless in his quest for deeper meaning.
With new songs coming constantly, an ever-expanding performance radius, and an ear for the truth, Brian's future looks bright as he rushes headlong to meet it.
"This is a musician who really knows what he's doing"
